How to Clean My PetSafe® Drinkwell® Mini Fountain
Important Information
- Clean the fountain at least once a month. Multi-pet households may need to clean more frequently.
- It is recommended to clean the pump and change the filters when cleaning the fountain.

- Never use bleach or other harsh chemicals.
Disassemble the fountain.

Clean each fountain part. Use mild dish soap and warm water with a gentle scrubber to clean. For tough grime or mineral build-up, you can use a 50/50 water-vinegar solution.
The Bowl, Filter Housing, and Lid are dishwasher safe, top rack only. It is recommended that you turn down the heat of the water inside the dishwasher if you can.
Thoroughly rinse all parts after washing to ensure there is no soap or vinegar residue left on them.
Reassemble the pump and fountain.
Replace the carbon filter. Rinse the new filter under warm water for 30 seconds before inserting into the filter housing.
