My PetSafe® Wireless Containment Base Unit and Collar Have Power, but the Collar is Not Activating or Correcting
Always remove the collar from your pet before beginning any troubleshooting.
Confirm your base unit settings are set appropriately and have not inadvertently been changed.
Confirm your collar is set to a level higher than 1. Level 1 is tone-only and does not deliver a static correction. Visit How to Test for help testing for correction and How to Change Correction Level for help adjusting your correction level.
Ensure your base unit is in a climate-controlled environment and at least 5 feet from metal. Visit How to Select a Suitable Location for Your Base Unit for more details on selecting an appropriate Location
If there are any issues with the base's location, try to move it.
