My Pet is Escaping the Boundary of the PetSafe® Guardian® GPS +Tracking Fence

Secure your pet and remove the collar from your pet before troubleshooting.

Verify the collar battery is charged and powered on.

Confirm the correct fence is assigned to your dog in the app. For more information, visit How To Assign to or Remove a Pet from a Fence on My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS + Tracking System.

While outside, away from your home or large buildings, hold the collar with the antenna pointed towards the sky. Confirm there is no white light flashing on the collar.

Check the correction level in the app. Verify it is not tone and vibration only. Additionally, try adjusting the correction level up one level. For more information, visit How To Change the Correction Levels on My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS + Tracking Fence Collar.

Please note that this system utilizes GPS technology. The boundary will be a general area. It is not uncommon for there to be a delay in correction or to vary in location slightly.
