How to Use the Happy Ride® Backpack Pet Carrier as a Backpack
Lift the pet carrier onto your shoulders without your pet inside.
Adjust the length of the shoulder straps equally using the strap slide buckle (A). To tighten, pull the excess strap end. To loosen, lift the tab side of the slide buckle.
Once the pet carrier fits comfortably, adjust the vertical position (B) of the chest strap. The chest strap will slide up and down the cording on the shoulder strap.
Once in position, buckle (C) the chest strap and loosen or tighten until you achieve a comfortable fit. You may need to continue adjusting the vertical position while adjusting the chest strap length.
Once your pet is acclimated to movement while secured inside, you may need to make final strap adjustments to accommodate the added weight of your pet.
