How To Reset or Change the Wi-Fi for My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS 2.0 Dog Fence + Tracking Charging Base

This resets the Wi-Fi module and clears your Wi-Fi network name and password.

Open the My PetSafe® app and select the Guardian + Tracking.

Tap Settings.

Choose Charging Bases.

Tap on the base you want to update or change.

Tap Wi-Fi Network.

Tap Update Wi-Fi.

Press and hold the reset button on the charging base. The LED will pulse green. Release the button as soon as the LED turns red.

If you hold the button for too long, you will factory reset the base and need to onboard your unit again. If this happens, visit How To Set Up My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS 2.0 Dog Fence + Tracking System.

Once the base begins to blink blue, tap Continue in the app.

Tap Continue again once the app has found your base

Select your Wi-Fi. Please note that it must be 2.4 GHz.

Enter your password and tap Done.

Your base will glow a solid green to confirm it is connected to the Wi-Fi.
