Finding My Dog’s Recognition Level on the PetSafe® Elite Big Dog Trainer or Elite Little Dog Trainer
Look for signs such as flicking ears or your pet looking around. When your pet responds, the appropriate recognition level has been found.
With the collar turned on and properly fitted on your pet, turn the remote to level 1.
If you are in the 2-Dog mode, click here for instructions on changing your dog’s stimulation level.
Press and hold the correction button (the yellow button for 1 dog or the lower gray button for dog 2) for 1 to 2 seconds.
Watch for your pet’s response. If no response, raise the remote one level until signs of recognition are shown.
