Your ScoopFree® Clumping Self-Cleaning Litter Box Has a Blinking Blue and Red Light
If your litter box has a blinking blue and red light, that indicates a mechanical error has occurred during the rake cycle. Follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Clear any obstructions near the rake, then press the rake button. The rake should finish the cycle and return to the home position.
If that doesn’t work, clean the rake:
Open the rake covers.
Release the rake by rotating the left and right thumbscrews one-quarter turn.
Lift the rake straight up and out of the litter box frame.
Clear any obstructions from inside the box and wipe off any litter clumps from the rake.
Reinstall the rake. If you have difficulty inserting the rake, it may be backward.
