Reasons your Simply Feed may be dispensing the wrong amount of food:
The feeder was not primed after adding food.

Multiple Feedings scheduled at the same time.

The conveyor belt is misaligned.
Ensure one lip on the conveyor belt is aligned with alignment arrows on the side of the conveyor.
Kibble debris has built up inside the conveyor.
