Not Working
If the toys are too far apart they will lose communication. To pair the toys, follow the instructions and ensure the toys are:
No more than 30 feet apart.
At least 3 to 5 feet away from large metal objects or appliances, such as a refrigerator, washing machine, metal coffee table, etc.
Bring the two toys together.
Press and hold the power button on the top of both toys until a beep is heard indicating the toys are powered on and paired.
If the toys do not power on, follow the next steps to replace the batteries.
Replace Batteries
Requires six AAA alkaline batteries.
Unscrew the colored halves of both toys.
Remove the battery compartment from the middle.
Pull off the battery cap of the battery compartment and remove the old batteries.
Insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment for each toy.
Line up the silver tab on the battery compartment with the notch in the battery cap and slide on the cap.
Place the battery compartment back into both toys.
Screw the colored halves back onto both toys.
Press and hold the power button on top of both toys until a beep is heard indicating the toys powered on. A double tone will follow indicating the toys are paired.
Place the toys in a play area no more than 30 feet apart and 3 to 5 feet away from any large metal objects.
If the toys turn on, but there is no beep indicating that the toys are paired or the toys do not turn on after new batteries, contact our Customer Care Team.
Chew Damage
Did your dog have too much fun playing with the Ricochet toy? We recommend that the toy be used for mental stimulation and automatic exercise rather than a chew toy.
