Standard Double Loop Layout

Double Loop Layouts are needed when certain areas of the property do not need containment. This requires the wire to be double backed on itself so that it can still create one single loop back to the wall unit.

This layout is used if you are looking to contain a portion of your property. The highlighted graphic indicates where the pet is allowed to go.

To lay a Double Loop, you will lay the wire around the perimeter of the area you want to contain. Once you get to the end of the area you want to contain, step inward 3-5 feet and follow the same path back to the beginning. Once you have completed the loop and back where you started, you can splice in your twisted wire to plug into your wall unit.

Twisted wire allows the pet to cross over the wire without receiving a correction. It is needed to connect your wall unit to your boundary wire. The wire needs to have 10-12 twists per foot to adequately cancel the signal. Pre-twisted wire is recommended and can be purchased HERE. The wire can also be twisted manually or utilizing a drill as seen HERE
