My PetSafe® Pawz Away® 2.0 Indoor Wireless Pet Barrier Does Not Have Power
Important Information
- When the PetSafe® Pawz Away® 2.0 Indoor Wireless Pet Barrier is powered on, the screen will display the current range and mode settings.
- The batteries in the indoor base puck will last up to 8 months depending on usage.
Check the indoor base puck for power. Press the up (+) button one time. The screen on the indoor base puck will display the mode and range bars if it has power.
Slide the battery cover off the back of the indoor base puck and remove the batteries. Inspect the inside of the battery compartment for corrosion.
Perform a battery drain. Press and hold the up (+) button on the front of the indoor base puck for 20 seconds with the batteries removed.
Insert 3 new alkaline AA batteries in the proper direction according to the plus and minus indicators on each slot. Do not use lithium or rechargeable batteries.
Replace the battery cover.
Press the up (+) button to power the indoor base puck on. The screen will display the mode and range bars.
