My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS Connected Customizable Fence Base Is Blinking Blue or Has No Wi-Fi

A blinking blue light on your base means it's not connected to Wi-Fi.
Don't worry, your containment system will still work using the last saved settings.
However, to update your boundary or change any settings, you'll need to reconnect the base to Wi-Fi.

To Reconnect 

Identify the speed of the blinking blue light.

  • Slow blinking blue light- base unit is connected to the App but not Wi-Fi
  • Fast blinking blue light- base unit attempting to connect to Wi-Fi

Verify the home Wi-Fi is working.

If Wi-Fi continues to disconnect, reconfigure the base unit settings to be connected to a 2.4 GHz network only, without the use of an extender or mesh network.

  • For help reconfiguring a dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) router to a 2.4 GHz band, contact the internet provider or manufacturer.
