My PetSafe® Elite Big or Little Dog Trainer Will Not Charge

Depending on the frequency of use, the remote transmitter and collar receiver have a charge life of approximately 40-60 hours.
The batteries have a life of approximately 3-5 years. However, this can vary depending on the amount of use and charging habits. The best charging habits include:
- Only charge the units when you see the low battery indicator on the remote or three red flashes every 5 seconds on the collar.
- Turn the collar off between charges.
- Charge your units once a month if you are storing them for long periods of time.
