Attach a leash to the back loop attachment on the harness and walk your dog normally. If your dog begins to pull, try training with the martingale loop attachment.

Martingale Loop Training

To train your dog with the no-pull feature, attach the leash to the martingale loop attachment, then follow the instructions below.

Tip: To correct unwanted behavior, hold the leash tight to create tension and redirect your dog back into position. To reward your dog, release the tension on the leash.

Start with short 5-10 minute sessions in a parked car to introduce the your dog to the harness.

Slide the seat belt through the seat belt loop. Use the car control strap if the seat belt loop restraint makes your dog uncomfortable or restricts his movement too much.

Give your dog time to acclimate to the restraint before driving the car in short sessions.

Take longer drives once your dog is comfortable being in the car restrained.
