I Can’t Save My Fence for the PetSafe® Guardian® GPS 2.0 Dog Fence+ Tracking System

Before any troubleshooting, ensure that the My PetSafe® app is up to date.

iPhone

If you have an issue when saving a fence, follow the troubleshooting below.

Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and you are not paired to other devices.

Open the My PetSafe® app and select GPS + Tracking.

Go to the Fences tab and tap the desired fence.

Tap Edit Fence.

Make a slight change to the fence using the drag-and-drop feature.

Tap Done

Press and hold the collar’s power button for 1 second. The Battery Status and the Signal Status LEDs will slowly pulse blue to indicate that the collar is in Bluetooth Pairing Mode. At this point, you have 25 seconds to pair your phone.

Press Next as soon as you see the flashing blue lights.

If this does not resolve your issue, contact Customer Care.

Android

If you receive an error message when saving your fence, follow the troubleshooting below.

Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and you are not paired to other devices.

Open the My PetSafe® app and select GPS + Tracking.

Go to Pets at the bottom of the screen.

Tap on the pet’s name, then hit Next.

Press and hold the collar’s power button for 1 second. The Battery Status and the Signal Status LEDs will slowly pulse blue to indicate that the collar is in Bluetooth Pairing Mode. At this point, you have 25 seconds to pair your phone.

Press Next as soon as you see the flashing blue light. If you get a pairing request message, press Save.
