I Can’t Save a Fence for My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS + Tracking System

Before any troubleshooting, ensure that the My PetSafe® app is up to date.

iPhone

If you have an issue when saving a fence, follow the troubleshooting below.

Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and you are not paired to other devices.

Go to the Fence tab and tap the desired fence.

Tap Edit and Test Fence.

Make a slight change to the fence using the drag-and-drop feature.

Tap Done

Press and hold the collar’s power button for 1 second. The collar will flash yellow once a second when it is in Bluetooth Pairing Mode. If your collar is not going into Bluetooth Pairing Mode, try updating it. To do so, place your collar on the charging base overnight.

Press Next as soon as you see the flashing yellow light.

Android

If you receive an error message when saving your fence, follow the troubleshooting below.

Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and you are not paired to other devices.

Go to Pets at the bottom of the screen.

Tap on the pet’s name, then hit Next.

Press and hold the collar’s power button for 1 second. The collar will flash yellow once a second when it is in Bluetooth Pairing Mode. If your collar is not going into Bluetooth Pairing Mode, try updating it. To do so, place your collar on the charging base overnight.

Press Next as soon as you see the flashing yellow light. If you get a pairing request message, press Pair.
