Understanding Your Ramp Adaptor

Rubberized Hook
Secures the strap to the car door. Rubber coating prevents slipping and protects the door.

Adjuster
Secures the strap at the correct length to fit the vehicle.

Strap
Infinitely adjustable to fit the height of any vehicle. Made of nylon.

Clip
Secures the strap to the ramp. Three options included to fit the ramps:

Position the adjuster clamp so that is is between the prongs on the rubberized hook. Slide the hook through the loop above the adjuster.

Slide the strap through the correct clamp.

Lift the clamp on the adjuster.

Pull the strap through the adjuster. Leave the strap long, it will be adjusted later.

Close the clamp on the adjuster.

Open the vehicle door and place the rubberized hook on the top of the open door. Make sure that the hook does not slide.

Place the ramp as securely as possible on the floor or seat of the vehicle.

Telescoping Ramps
First hook the clip over the rail, then under until it clicks.

Folding Ramp
First hook the clip under the rail, then over until it clicks.

While firmly holding the end of the strap, lift up on the clamp.

Pull down on the end of the strap until the ramp is held in a level position.

Lift up the edge of the ramp slightly and remove the hook from the door. Store with the ramp adapter in place.
