Acclimate Your Pet
Some pets may be timid to use the pet stairs at first. Follow the steps below to help acclimate your pet to the stairs.
Place the pet stairs in your desired location.
Allow your pet to approach the stairs on his own. When he touches the steps, reward him with treats and praise. Continue this until your pet chooses to walk up.
Once your pet is sitting comfortably, call him to walk down the steps. Reward him with treats and praise once he reaches the bottom of the stairs.
If your pet is still unsure, repeat steps 1-3 until he is at ease using the stairs.
