How to Troubleshoot the Guardian® GPS Customizable Wireless Fence Collar that is Flashing Red

The GPS Signal strength is indicated by the second of two blinks on your collar when it is powered on. The first blink indicates battery life.

A green or yellow light indicates a GPS signal is present. Green represents the strongest signal. A red light indicates no GPS signal.

Remove collar(s) from pet(s) before troubleshooting.

If you are having trouble acquiring GPS communication with your collar, verify the following:

• The collar is being held with the antennas upwards towards the sky.
• The collar is not in or around the home. When acquiring the GPS signal, the collar should be as far away from the home and overhead coverage as possible.
• The collar is not inside or on a vehicle.
• The collar has a sufficient battery charge.
• The collar has had a direct line of sight with the sky for up to 15 minutes. Shake the collar periodically to keep it from falling asleep.
