How to Troubleshoot Range Issues with My PetSafe® Pawz Away® Indoor Pet Barrier

Ensure your barrier is located indoors.

Ensure the barrier is not located within 5 feet of metal in all directions. The signal will travel through walls. If the barrier is near a wall, you will need to take into consideration any metal on the opposite side of the wall.

Verify the segment bars are set to the appropriate setting.

Change the batteries. Make sure you are using 3-AA Alkaline batteries.
