How to Troubleshoot a Guardian® GPS Connected Customizable Fence Collar Battery that Will Not Charge
Plug the charger into the wall without the battery inserted.
- If there is a series of lights present on the charger, proceed to step 2.
- If there is not a series of lights on the charger, try another wall outlet.
- If there is still not a series of lights on the charger, contact Customer Care.
Verify the battery and the charger are free of dirt and debris.
- If dirt or debris is present, unplug the charger and blow the debris clear.
Do not clean with water, cleaner, or liquid.
Verify the battery is seated correctly into the charger by placing the battery in the charger ensuring the arrow is lined up with the Unlock arrow. Gently press the battery down and twist clockwise to lock the battery in place.
Ensure the battery is being charged fully. The charger will indicate a solid red light when the battery is actively charging and will light green when complete.
