How To Train My Dog with the PetSafe® Collarless Trainer Ultrasonic Training Tool
Important Information
- Every dog responds differently, so try the different sound modes and frequency settings to see what works best for your dog.
- Do not use this product with dogs less than 6 months old.
- This product is intended for use only with dogs. Never attempt to use it for any purpose not described in this guide. All animals within hearing range will be affected by this product.
- Humans cannot hear the ultrasonic frequencies but may find the product’s effect to be otherwise disturbing. Keep 2 to 3 feet between the product and your ears when using or testing it.
- Do not use this product if your dog is aggressive or is prone to aggressive behavior.
To correct an unwanted behavior, point the trainer at your dog (within 30 feet, with no obstacles) and press one of the mode buttons, while giving a verbal command such as “Stop.”
- Press and release for a 1-second correction.
- Press and hold for continuous correction.
Important: To protect your dog, the trainer will time out after 8 seconds of ultrasonic correction. Press the button again if additional correction is needed.
