Hold the collar at a 45° degree angle so the contact points and sensor between them all contact the cutting board.

Any style cutting board will work. They will all create the appropriate vibration needed to activate the collar without damaging the sensor or the testing surface area.

Slowly slide the contact points back and forth across the cutting board five times or until you see the red light on the collar flash. Note: you may or may not hear the collar beep. If there is a red light, it is correcting.

  • If you wish to feel for the correction, wait 2 minutes before moving to step 5.

Place 1 finger along the sides of the contact points.

Slowly slide the contact points back and forth across the cutting board five times or until you see the red light on the collar flash and feel the collar correct. Note: Each time the collar corrects, it will correct at one level higher than the previous correction.
