How To Set Up My PetSafe® Hydrosphere™ 60oz Cordless Fountain
Important Information

Charge or Connect to Power
The fountain arrives partially charged. Fully charge it or connect it to power before use.
Flip the base over, pull the rubber cover from the charging port, and insert the charging cord into the charging port.
If you plan to leave the fountain connected to power, weave the cord through the channel to secure it in place and allow the base to sit flat.
Plug the other end of the charging cord into a 5V, 2A USB-A adaptor or outlet.
Allow the base to fully charge. While charging, the power light pulses blue and changes to solid blue when charging is complete.
Once charged, you can unplug the fountain and place it anywhere in your home.

Assemble the Fountain
Place the bowl onto the fountain base and slowly rotate the bowl until you feel it align and connect with the base.
Place the pump in the bottom of the bowl, within the indentation. You will feel the pump connect magnetically when placed properly.
Unwrap and rinse the filter. Hold the filter by the top tab and slide it in the filter bracket on the pump faceplate. The filter is reversible so it does not matter which side (black or white) faces the pump.
Place the splash guard on the edge of the bowl with the shortest section to the front of the fountain.
Add water to the fill line on the inside of the bowl.
Place the tray within the splash guard, ensuring the rubber gasket in the center aligns with the tube from the pump.
Press and release the power button to turn the fountain on. The power light will glow solid blue. The water level light will briefly pulse red while the pump primes with water, then turn off and the water will begin to flow from the center of the fountain.
When operating on battery power, the fountain automatically switches to motion-detected flow mode to conserve energy. In this mode, the pump turns on when your pet approaches the fountain and turns off when not in use. A built-in UVC light helps keep the water fresh even when the pump is off.
