How To Set Up and Use My PetSafe® ScoopFree® Disposable Crystal Litter Tray With Disposable Bag

Lift the waste trap cover and pull out the top tray.

Remove and dispose of all brown cardboard, including the pieces under the waste trap.

Remove one bag of litter and the disposable bags.

Store the other tray, disposable bags and bag of litter aside for later use.

Pour the entire bag of crystal litter into the disposable tray and spread it evenly.

• The bags are pre-measured (4.3 lbs.). Excess litter blocks sensors, while too little fails to control odor or rake effectively.

Sprinkle one handful of litter under the waste trap.

• This helps with extra moisture control and to prevent waste from sticking in the waste trap.

Slide the disposable tray under the ScoopFree® litterbox, making sure the magnets on the tray’s waste trap connect to the magnets on the litterbox’s waste trap.

• If the litterbox is not sitting flush, ensure the disposable tray is pushed all the way in and is facing the correct direction, with the waste trap on the tray and the trap on the litterbox facing the same direction.

Lift the litterbox up.

Slide the disposable tray out from under the litterbox.

Slide the disposable tray into one of the provided trash bags and place it in a trash can.
