How to Reset the PetSafe® NanoBark™ Collar to Level One
Important Information
The PetSafe® NanoBark™ Collar uses temperament learning technology. As the dog barks, the correction levels climb higher. The bark collar remembers the level at which the dog stopped barking. This feature works great for pets that need the higher levels of correction. There are times that resetting the level back to one would be necessary:
- If the collar is used for multiple dogs, a reset should be completed when taking off of one dog and putting it on the other.
- If the dog inadvertently raises the correction level too high. If this occurs, it most commonly occurs during the training periods.
- If troubleshooting had been performed on the collar.
Reset the Collar
Power the collar on. Confirm the collar blinks green twice. This should take approximately 5-10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button after the second green light. Continue to hold the power button through the red light and power-off tone.
Release the power button once the green light flashes rapidly 5 times. The level is now reset to level 1.
Power the collar back on to resume using the collar.
