How to Plug in My PetSafe® Guardian® GPS + Tracking Fence Base and Charge the Collar
To Plug in the Charging Base
Plug the USB into the wall adaptor and then the wall adaptor into a standard electrical outlet. This is recommended to be done before plugging into the charging base.
Connect the other end of the power cable into the charging base.
To Charge the Collar
Place the collar on the charger, making sure the charging points on the collar match up with the charging port on the base.
Gently push the collar into the charging base until the clips snap into place around the collar. The collar will beep low to high when placed correctly on the charging base. Additionally, the collar LED will slowly blink blue while the collar is charging.
When the collar is fully charged (within 2-4 hours) the LED light will glow a solid blue and is now safe to remove. Press the release button in front of the collar to remove the collar from the base.
Important: The charging base will apply any firmware updates to the collar while it is charging. The collar LED will slowly pulse white if an update is in progress, DO NOT remove the collar from the base until the update is complete.
Each charge can last up to 24 hours depending on the frequency of use. Make sure to turn off the collar when not in use to preserve the battery.
