How to Pair My PetSafe® Pawz Away® Indoor Pet Barrier and Collar
Power your barrier off by pressing the down (-) button until the screen of the barrier is blank.
Power off your collar by using the edge of the Test Light Tool or coin to turn the battery cap off (o).
Remove the battery cover on the back of the barrier and locate the mode switch below the batteries.
Set the mode switch to A (left position) or B (center position) and replace the battery door on the back of the barrier.
If you have multiple collars and want them to react on different barriers, select mode A for one collar, and mode B for the other. If the barrier is set to mode AB, both collars will activate on the barrier. Please note that the collars cannot be paired when the barrier is set to AB mode.
Place the collar next to the barrier and power the collar on (I).
Press and hold the down (-) button on the barrier for 3 seconds.
Continue to hold the down (-) button and begin pressing and holding the up (+) button at the same time. The collar will beep rapidly three times. Release both buttons.
If you are programming more than one collar, they must be paired one at a time.
Power your barrier back on and select the desired range.
