How To Pair My PetSafe® Basic Dog Trainer Remote and Collar

Start with the collar turned off. Turn the collar off by pressing and holding the power button until the collar beeps high to low and the light glows red.

Press the rocker switch on the right side to wake the remote. Please note that using the tone or vibration/static button to wake the remote will activate the collar.

Put the collar into pairing mode by pressing and holding the power button. The collar light will glow green. Continue to hold.

Release the button when the light goes back out. The collar is now in pairing mode.

Press and hold the tone button (bottom button) on the remote. The collar light will flash green 5 times to confirm it is paired with the remote. Additionally, the collar will begin to tone.
