How to Measure Your Pet for a PetSafe® Comfort Harness
To ensure proper fit of your PetSafe® Comfort Harness, you will need a soft tape measure or a leash and a standard tape measure.
While your dog is standing, you will need to use the tape measure or leash to measure the girth of your dog. This measurement is taken by starting slightly lower than the dog’s shoulder blades and circling the body just behind the dog’s front legs. If you are using a leash, you will need to measure the length of leash against the standard tape measure to get your measurement.
While your dog is standing, obtain the shoulder measurement by measuring around the base of the neck.

If your pet falls in between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
