How To Measure My Dog to Determine Which Size PetSafe® Plastic Pet Door is Needed
Important Information
Your dog should be standing comfortably while being measured.
Using a tape measure, determine the width of your dog’s chest.
Determine the height of your dog's chest from his back above his shoulder to the lowest point of his ribcage.
Once you have these two measurements, compare them to the chart to determine the size of the door needed.
Ensure that both measurements meet the size requirements. If your dog’s measurements fit two different sizes in the chart, select the larger of the two sizes.
If you have more than one dog, use the measurements from your largest dog.
