How To Measure My Cat to Determine if the PetSafe® 4-Way Locking Big Cat Door Will Work for Us
Important Information
Your cat should be standing comfortably while being measured.
Measure the widest part of your cat, the chest or hips. Add one to two inches.
Measure your cat from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the chest or belly, whichever is the tallest part. Add one to two inches.
Once you have these two measurements, compare them to the measurements of the cat door opening to determine if the PetSafe® 4-Way Locking Big Cat Door is appropriate for your cat.
If you have more than one cat, use the measurements from your largest cat.
