Clean sensorsClean sensors

Clean all six detection sensors on the interior sides (3 on each side) of the litter box even if the sensors look clean. Waste can cause a film on the sensors and interfere with their detection abilities. Rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab work best for this.

Wipe all surfaces on the litter box frame with a cloth or sponge using mild soap and water. Wipe the rake with a sponge or soft brush.

DO NOT use any soaps or cleaners that would leave residue on the sensors. DO NOT use bleach or chemicals to clean as they can act as a repellent to your cat.

Thoroughly dry all parts before reassembling the litter box.

Tip: Spray the rake with cooking spray and let it set to dry before reinstalling. This will help prevent items from sticking to the rake.

IMPORTANT: Never spray the cooking spray onto the rake when installed in the litter box. This can cause the litter to clump very hard and potentially lead to damage.

Reassemble the litter box.

IMPORTANT: Installing the rake with the bar facing the back of the litter box and locking the rake in are essential.

Refill the litter box up to the maximum fill line.
