How To Clean My PetSafe® ScoopFree® OpenSky Self-Cleaning Litter Box
For a quick clean, wipe the litter box with a damp cloth to clean off dust and dirt.
For a Deeper Clean:
Turn off the power by pressing the power button for 3 seconds.
Remove the cover on the side.
Lift the lever.
Remove the waste drawer, empty it, rinse, and let it dry.
Remove and clean the litter chamber.
Wipe the top and bottom of the waste trap door with a damp cloth.
Once all the parts of the box are completely dry, re-seat the litter chamber by nesting the gears on the chamber to the gears on the base.
Latch the lever and replace the cover.
Add a waste bag to the waste drawer.
Remove the cover from the deodorizer and insert it into the waste drawer. Slide the waste drawer into the litter box.
Plug the litter box back into a wall outlet and wait for the device to start self-check. This takes about 2 minutes. Do not let your pet interact with the litter box at this time.
