How to Charge the PetSafe® NanoBark™ Collar

Know When to Charge

Your bark collar will indicate a low battery with a red light. When your collar is powered on and begins blinking red instead of green, it is time to charge the collar.

Align the magnets on the end of the charger with the metal contacts on the back of the NanoBark™ Collar.

Plug the other end of the charger into a USB wall adaptor (not included). The collar will have a solid green light to indicate the collar is charging.

When the charge is complete or the collar is not in need of a charge, the collar light will be off when on the charger.

Remove the collar from the charger and power it back on to resume normal operation.

Get the Most Out of Your Battery

  • Turn your collar off in between uses to preserve the battery.
  • Average battery life is 24 hours of use. This can vary depending on how often your pet barks.
  • Only charge the unit when it indicates low battery. Overcharging will shorten the life of the battery.
  • Charge the collar once a month if you are going to store it for long periods of time.
