How to Charge the Guardian® GPS Connected Customizable Fence
GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERY
- Only charge the battery when you see the low battery indicator.
Overcharging can shorten the battery life. - Your collar will flash twice at regular intervals. The first flash will indicate the battery status. When the first flash is red, you have less than 12 hours of battery remaining.
- Each charge can last between 24 and 72 hours. Charge time will vary depending on usage.
- The collar battery can be removed to extend the life of the battery when the collar is not in use.
- Once the battery is placed on the charger, allow the battery to fully charge before removing it from the charger. This will take approximately 4 hours.
Remove the battery from the collar using a coin. Turn the arrow on the battery past the unlock symbol. The battery will pop up once it is unlocked to allow for its removal.
Place the battery in the charger ensuring the arrow is lined up with the unlock arrow, gently press the battery down and twist clockwise to lock the battery in place.
Plug the charger into a wall outlet.
The charger will indicate a solid red light when it is actively charging the battery.
The charger will light green within 4 hours when the charge is complete.
Once the charge is complete, gently press the battery down and twist counterclockwise towards the unlocked symbol to release the battery.
Reinsert the battery into the collar. Ensure the arrow on the battery is inserted towards the unlock symbol. Using a coin, turn the battery to the lock symbol. When the battery is inserted correctly, the collar lights will come on and the top of the battery will sit flush with the collar.
