How to Charge My PetSafe® YardMax® Collar
Know When to Charge
Your collar will flash once at regular intervals. A green flash indicates a good battery level. A green and red flash indicates a battery level between 60% and 20%. A red flash indicates the battery level is 20% or less and needs to be charged.
Lift the charge port cover and plug the adaptor into the collar. Line the notches on the charger up with the notches in the collar charge port.
Allow the collar to charge completely.
- When the collar is charging, it will have a solid red light. The collar will change to a solid green light when the charge is complete. A complete charge can take up to 3 hours.
GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERY
- Only charge the collar when you see the red low battery indicator. Overcharging can shorten the battery life.
- Charge the collar until the collar indicates a solid green light while on the charger each time it is charged.
- Each charge can last up to 3 months. Charge time will vary depending on usage.
- Turn the collar off in between uses.
