How To Charge My PetSafe® Pawz Away® 2.0 Collar
Know When to Charge
Your collar will indicate a low battery with a red flash once every 5 seconds while the collar is powered on. Only charge the collar when it indicates a low battery.
Charge the Collar

Plug the charging cable into a USB-A power outlet or a 5V AC/DC wall adaptor.
Align the magnets on the end of the charger with the metal contacts on the back of the Pawz Away® 2.0 Collar. The collar light will blink green to indicate it is charging.
Remove the collar from the charging cable when the charge is complete, indicated by a solid green light on the collar. Charging typically takes about 2 hours.
Get the Most Out of Your Battery
- Turn your collar off in between uses to preserve the battery.
- Average battery life is up to 3 months of use. This can vary depending on how often your dog tests the barrier.
- Only charge the collar when it indicates a low battery, as overcharging can shorten the battery life.
- Charge the collar once a month if you are storing it for extended periods of time to preserve the battery life.
