How To Charge My PetSafe® Basic Dog Trainer
Important Information
- Only charge the component that needs charging.
- Turn the collar off when not in use to preserve battery power.
- Each charge can last up to 20 hours, depending on the frequency of use.
Collar
Plug the USB charging cable into an outlet or brick.
Line up and connect the other end of the charging cable to the magnetic charging port on the back of the collar.
The light on the top of the collar will glow solid green when charging. Leave the collar plugged in until it is fully charged.
Remove the collar from the charger only after seeing the green light begin to blink, indicating a full charge. This takes about 2 hours.
Remote
Plug the USB charging cable into an outlet or brick.
Line up and connect the other end of the charging cable to the magnetic charging port on the back of the remote.
Leave the remote on the charger until it is fully charged.
Remove the remote only after seeing the full battery icon on the bottom part of the display.
The remote is always on, but the display turns off automatically when not in use. Press the rocker switch to wake the display.
Please note that pressing the tone or static button to wake the display will activate the collar.
