How to Change the Batteries in the PetSafe® Pawz Away® Barrier Collar
Using the edge of the Test Light Tool or a coin, turn the battery cap to the unlock icon.
Remove both batteries from the battery cap.
Insert 2 new CR-2032 batteries into the battery cap. The positive (+) side of the batteries should be facing the inside of the battery cap.
Reinsert the battery cap into the collar. Line up the unlock icon on the cap with the arrow on the collar. Use the edge of the Test Light Tool or a coin to twist the cap to (I) to power the collar on.
Test the collar by approaching the barrier using the Test Light Tool for functionality. Be sure to hold the collar at your pet's neck height.
The collar will emit a low tone and gradually increase in correction level over 3 seconds.
