How to Activate the Manual Clean on the PetSafe® ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ Self-Cleaning Litter Box

The SmartSpin™ can be triggered to scoop the pan manually by pressing the Cleaning Button on the front of the pan for 1 second and releasing. To pause a cleaning cycle in progress, press and release the Cleaning Button again. If Child- Lock is enabled in the app, the Cleaning Button will be disabled on the ScoopFree® SmartSpin™ control panel.

To trigger the SmartSpin™ using the app, open the app and select Manual Cycle. Select OK when asked “Do you want to start cleaning now?” The screen will show Cleaning in progress until the cycle is complete.
