How To Acclimate Your Pet to the CozyUp® Bedside Ramp
Some pets may be timid to use the bedside ramp at first. Follow the steps below to help acclimate your pet to the ramp.
Place the ramp directly next to the bed.
Allow your pet to approach the ramp on his own. When he touches the ramp, reward him with treats and praise. Continue this until your pet chooses to walk up.
Once your pet is sitting on the bed comfortably, call him to walk down the ramp. Reward him with treats and praise once he reaches the bottom of the ramp.
If your pet is still unsure, repeat steps 1-3 until he is comfortable using the ramp.
