Two people
Begin with the bicycle basket on the ground. Allow your pet to appraoch the basket on his own and reward with treats and praise when he does.
Set up the bicycle basket once your pet is comfortable around it.
Secure your pet in the bicycle basket with the harness attachment. Reward with treats and praise.
Important: Make sure to adjust the length of the tether so your pet cannot jump out of the seat.
Note: Having another person hold your bicycle steady may help make your pet more comfortable.
Start with short quick rides to help your pet get comfortable with the bicycle moving.
If your pet is still uncomfortable after a couple of rides, try walking alongside the bike and praising your pet while someone else rides the bike.
