Emptying the Waste Bin of Your Simply Clean® Automatic Litter Box

From now on, all you need to do to keep your cat’s litter box fresh and odor-free is empty the waste bin when it starts getting full. For single-cat households, this will be about every other day; if you have multiple cats, you might need to empty it more often.

Slide the waste bin out of the litter box. Tie the waste bag closed and place it in the trash.

Line the waste bin with a fresh bag and slide it back into the litter box. Make sure the bag does not hang over the edge of the waste bin by more than an inch, as this can prevent the small fin on the waste bin from contacting the metal switch inside the litter box.

Warning: Pregnant women, babies, small children and immune-deficient individuals should avoid contact with cat litter waste. Cat’s waste may contain toxoplasmosis bacteria that can be harmful to these individuals.

Make sure the indicator light on the front of the litter box is glowing green. If it is blinking blue, rearrange the bag lining the waste bin, referring to the guidelines in the previous step.
