Welcome to your new PetSafe® Anti-Bark Spray Collar!
Keep in Mind
Training time may vary with each dog.
Refrain from having your dog wear the collar longer than 12 hours to avoid skin irritation.
Water resistant, not submersible.
Intended for dogs six months or older.
Do not expose the collar to temperatures below 32°F or above 113°F.
A microphone detects the sound from your dog’s bark.
Collar Features
Refill Port
Allows the collar to be refilled with the spray canister.
Spray Nozzle
Emits a bark deterring spray when the microphone is triggered.
Battery Compartment
Houses a 6V battery to power the collar.
Microphone
Detects the sound from your dog’s bark to send the spray.
On/Off Switch
Powers the collar on and off.
Note: Some collars may have I/O marked.

Spray Refill Canister
Contains the corrective bark deterrent spray the collar emits. Available in citronella and unscented.
Fit the Collar
Important: Refrain from having your dog wear the collar longer than 12 hours at a time to avoid skin irritation.
Center the collar on your dog’s neck while he is standing.
Check that one finger fits between the collar and your dog’s neck.
Important: If your dog has long fur that sits over the spray nozzle, trim the fur to ensure the correction is received.
Adjust Strap
For a snug fit, follow the adjustment instructions below.
Fasten Buckle
Slide Buckle
To loosen
Move the strap through the Slide Buckle, fasten the buckles and then pull down.
To tighten
Move the strap up through the Fasten Buckle, then pull through the Slide Buckle.
Trim Strap (Optional)
If there is excess strap after finding the proper fit, follow the steps below to trim the strap.
Important: Leave extra room on the strap if your dog is young or grows a thick winter coat.
Place the collar on your dog, and mark the strap at least 2 inches past the buckle.
Remove the collar and cut at the mark.
Apply a flame to the cut edge to seal the end of the strap.
Power on the Collar
Slide the battery door to the left to open.
Insert a 6V battery, then slide the battery door shut.
Turn the power switch to the ON position.
Note: The battery life can last 2-4 months, depending on use.
Refill and Test the Collar
Set the collar on a flat surface and place the spray canister downward over the refill port. Hold the canister straight and firmly press down for 10 seconds.
Important: The collar holds 25-30 sprays and can not be overfilled. If spray leaks out while filling, repeat this step, pressing down more firmly.
Blow into the microphone while holding the collar away from your face. The collar will emit a spray, indicating it is working properly.
